Mano Mini Full Wetsuit - Dusty Lavender

$200.00 USD

Description

The Mano is Abysse's kids full wetsuit for cooler water and longer sessions. Full sleeves and full-length legs with a thermal lining through key body panels deliver the warmth little surfers need to stay in the water longer. A second-skin fit designed for little bodies that love to move — from toddler through to age 11.

Made with 3mm limestone neoprene, sourced from calcium carbonate, not petroleum. Softer, lighter, and more flexible than conventional neoprene. Glued and blind-stitched (GBS) seams reduce water entry and improve warmth retention for extended sessions in cooler water. A back-zip entry makes it easy for kids to get in and out independently.

FAQ

What water temperature is the Mano 3/3mm for?
The Mano 3/3mm is designed for water temperatures between 58–66°F (14–19°C). It provides more warmth than the Nai'a 2/2mm, making it ideal for cooler coastal conditions and longer sessions in the water.

Does the Mano have thermal lining?
Yes. The Mano 3/3mm features a thermal internal lining through key body panels to help retain warmth during cooler water sessions. This is one of the key differences from the Nai'a 2/2mm, which uses a standard recycled lining.

What seams does the Mano use?
The Mano uses glued and blind-stitched (GBS) seams. GBS seams create a more watertight seal than flatlock stitching, reducing water entry and improving warmth for longer sessions in cooler water.

What is the difference between the Mano and the Nai'a?
Both are full wetsuits with full sleeves and full leg coverage. The Mano is 3/3mm with GBS seams and thermal lining, designed for cooler water between 58–66°F (14–19°C). The Nai'a is 2/2mm with flatlock seams, designed for milder water between 64–72°F (18–22°C).

What age is each size?
Size 1 fits most children aged 10 to 18 months. Size 2 fits 2 to 3 years. Size 4 fits 3 to 5 years. Size 6 fits 5 to 7 years. Size 8 fits 7 to 9 years. Size 10 fits 9 to 11 years. Children grow at different rates so we always recommend checking height and weight against the size guide for the most accurate fit.

How should a kids wetsuit fit?
It should feel snug all over with no baggy areas, especially at the lower back and neck. A wetsuit that is too loose will let water in and reduce warmth. A small amount of restriction when dry is normal — it softens once in the water.

Is this neoprene safe for children?
Yes. The Mano is made with limestone-based neoprene, sourced from calcium carbonate rather than petroleum. It is softer and more flexible than conventional neoprene, making it comfortable for children during extended wear.

How do I care for a kids wetsuit?
Rinse with fresh water after every session. Dry away from direct sunlight. Close any Velcro tabs before storing to protect the lining and seams.

Can I machine wash this wetsuit?
No. Machine washing damages neoprene. Always hand rinse with fresh cold water only.
