Hawkins Bodysuit - Coco Rib
Named after Mary Ann Hawkins, swimmer, paddleboarder, and one of the original queens of California surf culture, this bodysuit is built for those who simply get in the water and go.
This version is cut from a recycled ribbed performance fabric, the same secure second-skin fit with added texture and a more elevated finish. Double-lined, it stays in place through surfing, swimming, paddleboarding, and everything in between. The boy-leg cut delivers confident coverage with a retro ease, adjustable spaghetti straps let you dial in the fit, and the low scooped back keeps things comfortable from morning to night.

Fit note
Not padded. No built-in breast support. The ribbed fabric is slightly less stretchy than our standard recycled fabric. If you are between sizes or have a longer torso, we recommend sizing up.

The ribbed construction adds texture and structure while maintaining durability and quick-dry performance. Built-in UPF 50+ sun protection helps block harmful UV rays during long days under the sun. Chlorine resistant.
Care: hand wash in cold water, hang to dry away from direct sunlight. Do not tumble dry, do not iron, do not dry clean.

$200 for a swimsuit kind of sounds a little insane at first, if that’s not your normal price range for clothing, and especially when your normal price range for clothing is Walmart. I don’t go swimming that much, but I have been on the lookout for that one swimsuit that I could wear, regardless of my stage in life and still look cute! I’m going to the beach this summer and the destination is a very family friendly spot. I wanted to find a swimsuit that I would be comfortable in around kids and could play and run around without my swimsuit bottom, turning into a thong (which is my most common problem). And since I have three kids under 5, I needed this type of swimsuit more than ever to be squat-proof. They sell so many swim tops and bottoms for $20- each price individually so I figured, I could either buy 10 swimsuits at $20 total for tops and bottoms, or 5 swimsuits where each piece of the two piece is $20, or just buy the $200 swimsuit that will literally work forever and be the most versatile swimsuit I have ever owned. And I’m glad I went with the last choice. I sized up to a medium, even though the size chart told me small because I usually run the problem of the pant leg being long enough in the front, but then my cheeks being too cheeky in the back (then I’m always having to readjust my shorts). I think this was the perfect move because I do have a little extra fabric in the front, but my butt is perfectly covered and it doesn’t feel like it’s ever going to ride up!…

Great coverage, not too thin of thick, true to size fit. Threw a longsleeve button down over it to run into the grocery store after a beach walk and some shelling. Super versatile.
