Wholesale Terms
These terms apply to all wholesale accounts and orders with Abysse in the United States. By submitting a wholesale application, you agree to these terms.
Who can apply
Wholesale accounts are open to retail businesses with a physical store, a valid seller’s permit, and a fit with the Abysse brand. We review every application and reply within 2 business days. We may decline an application at our discretion.
Limited doors
We partner with a limited number of stockists in each area to protect our partners and the brand. Approval depends on location as well as fit.
Opening order and reorders

All minimums are at wholesale value. Orders can be mixed across categories, and wetsuits are ordered in full size runs per style. We confirm your account tier when we approve your application.
Pricing
Wholesale prices are listed on our current wholesale price list and in your account. Prices are in USD and may change with each season. Confirmed orders keep the price at which they were placed.
Minimum advertised price (MAP)
Abysse has a minimum advertised price policy for all products. Stockists must not advertise Abysse products below our suggested retail price, in any channel, including websites, social media, email and marketplaces. You remain free to set your own selling prices in store. Where products are advertised below MAP, we may stop supplying that account. Abysse may announce sale periods when MAP is temporarily lowered.
Payment terms
First orders are paid in full before shipping. After your first order, approved accounts may be offered net 30 terms. Payment is accepted by ACH bank transfer, or by ACH or credit card against a QuickBooks invoice. Overdue accounts may be put on hold until payment is received.
Sales tax and resale certificates
A valid resale certificate for your shipping state is required before we can sell to you tax exempt. Without a valid certificate on file, sales tax will be charged. Certificates must be kept current, and we may ask for an updated copy at any time.
Shipping and freight
Orders ship from [San Clemente, California]. Freight is paid by the buyer and added to your invoice unless agreed otherwise in writing. Delivery dates are estimates, and we are not responsible for carrier delays.
Order changes and cancellations
Changes or cancellations must be requested in writing [X] days before the ship date. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled.
Damages, shortages and defects
Please check your delivery on arrival. Report any damage or shortage within [7] days of delivery, with photos. Manufacturing defects reported within [30] days of delivery will be repaired, replaced or credited at our discretion.
Returns
Wholesale orders are final sale. We do not accept returns for unsold stock or sizing.
Where Abysse can be sold
Our wholesale program is built around physical retail stores, and products are supplied primarily for in-store sale. Other retailers may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Selling online
Selling Abysse products online, including on your own website, requires our written approval. Approved online sales must follow these rules:
Products may be sold only on your own website, linked to your physical store.
Sales on third-party marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, Poshmark, Depop or Faire are not permitted.
Our minimum advertised price policy applies to all online listings, emails and social posts.
Only official Abysse product images and descriptions may be used, without alteration.
Social media
We love seeing Abysse in your store. Please tag @abysseofficial in posts. Prices shown in social posts and stories must follow our minimum advertised price policy.
Advertising
Accounts may not bid on “Abysse” or related brand terms in Google, Meta or any other paid search or social advertising.
Reselling
Products may not be sold or transferred to other retailers, resellers or distributors, or used for drop-shipping.
Account review
We review accounts regularly. Accounts with no orders for [12] months, overdue payments, or breaches of these terms may be closed.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in effect when you place an order apply to that order.
